What Sets The Health Circulator Apart From Others?
The Health Circulator Rebounder traces its roots back over well over 60 years ago. Before that, the HC Rebounder was called “Sundancer”. In short, the Health Circulator Rebounder has held the same principles as the initial Rebounder and continues to adhere to the strict fabrication process, albeit with improved parts, like the sure grip rubber tips. How can the use of this device affect so much and why other types don’t work as the Health Circulator?
For starters, perhaps it is due to the soft mat surface that improves the pressure and increases slightly the blood flow from the feet. The mat is custom sewn with many stitches that strengthen & secure this from tearing, along with 32 grommets to secure the mat to the frame.
Then it could be the 32 male & female springs with just the right tension & toning that are connected to the mat and absorb the stress & pressure away from the feet towards the frame.
Then it might well be that the frame is a single circle, one piece that is the optimum size for a person to enjoy the activity.
Of course, there are 6 legs that balance & secure the frame. These are welded so there is no danger of breaking or screwing required, plus they are chrome plated to prevent any rusting. 8″ in length and short to slide under the bed. The reason for this size is noticed as jumping high, although doable is not encourage or needed to attain the benefits.
The steel reinforced rubber crutch tips are just excellent. Soft enough to grip the floor so it remains secure. Strong enough to take the action and absorb the shock.

There are so many books, articles, opinions written on rebounding, and many professionals, teachers, nutritional doctors, etc. all claiming & extolling the benefits of rebounding. There seems to be only pluses to rebounding. Then why is rebounding so good and why many of us are only hearing about this now?
At this point I am focused on a single direction. The act of rebounding is easy to see and simple to do. I refer to this as the “functional window dressing”. What is hidden behind this activity and why is it so impacting? My searching for answers always, always comes back to Natural Law. When one engages with rebounding, you are collaborating with Natural Law. The physical act of movement up & down introduces initially the Laws of Gravity and Levitation. In addition there are laws of kinetic movement governing muscles, breathing, circulation, cellular fluid dynamics, shifting pressures of blood & lymph fluids, balance, coordination, eye movement, spinal realignment, etc. All this interacting with Natural Law is what is physically occurring and measurable. Again I refer to this as “functional window dressing”. What you see may satisfy your brain & senses. The activity may satisfy your mind in that you are engaged in activity & exercise. The enjoyment of the vigorous activity may satisfy your effort input. All good things to keep us satisfied & suitably rewarded. What is really going on?
I am a gardener. I see that the food I harvest is a result of my planting seeds, watering, soil amendments, composting, etc. Again this is most enjoyable and still all window dressing. The visible results of all the laws functioning together. The energy from the sun, the influence of the moon, the effects of wind, song, raining, etc. In addition there are laws of magnetic flux, kinetic energy, pulse of vortex inducement, etc. What part do I play in these inputs? My role is to show up and prepare the ground & plant the seed in this exact location. Place the seed in a place conducive to its growth, and it will grow. Indeed it must grow according to the Laws.
What happens from here for the most part is out of my realm to influence & dictate. I do chat and encourage the plants to grow. There is no “hope” or “faith’ involved here. There is every expectation of growth & harvesting. I tend & care for these expressions of vibrancy. I get to chose & enjoy each as they are ready. I do attempt to increase the nutrient density of the plants with careful, applications of compost & additives, water, supporting trellis, etc. I also tend to use less interference techniques like digging, and disrupting the soil microbes, etc. So how does all this happen? Yes I can discuss how the flow of creative expressive energy shows up as “food” and when we eat this food it also imparts energy to our physical bodies to utilize. All good things, however there is more to the scene. The Laws of creative energy flow are at work. I facilitate this flow and the results are enormous. Energy is delivered in Creation via a vortex movement. This is easily seen in the shapes of foods like carrots, parsnips, onions, etc. Also in the shapes of horns, shells, trees,
The same patterns occur in our activity on the Rebounder. The flow of energy is in the shape of a vortex. We engage the Laws of creative flow. In engaging one Law we must necessarily engage all Laws, all at the same time for beneficial effect. Operating under & with the Laws we align ourselves with the vitality of life giving results. God’s wise moral economy dictates that His children, made in His image, utilize His methods. Recognition of this boon, makes a man princely in power & godlike in character.
So we have arrived at the process of life, vitality & wellness. The simple act of up & down movement on the Rebounder, causes us to amplify the effects of all the Laws on our behest to fulfill their function.
One note on a measurable component. I refer to this as the “tipping point”. In looking at the human body to tolerate fluctuations, I see that we have somewhat limited adjustment. This can be perceived as a bonus to facilitate our human condition. How much blood can we lose? How long can we go without sleep , food or water. What range of bodily temperature can we tolerate? Our physical attributes are amazing in that we have capabilities untapped. Its well that most of our bodily functions carry on with limited input from our consciousness. Everything operates under Law. However do make choices that sabotage our wellness. Most of these are minor influences and our body adjusts well to them. There is a tipping point. I believe that once we remain on that side, we can function with a degree of wellness that carries us into old age with sufficient flexibility & vitality.
Perhaps Cancer & other conditions are physical expressions of lingering on the wrong side of the tipping point. Rather than combat against these conditions, doing so is fighting against Nature & the Laws, there must be a change to switch to the favorable side of that tipping point. Prompting Nature to act in a restorative function. Perhaps this is the real secret of Rebounding. It simply places us back into the zone of wellness, Lawfully. The parasympathetic system places an energetic imprint and causes the vital energy to act on the new conditions.
There is much to gain and nothing to lose on the Rebounding. Rebounding on the Aerobic Side
In Grand Rapids, Iowa in 1936, George Nissen invented the trampoline; a device originally intended for gymnasts to perform moves that couldn’t be done before. Little did George know his creation would decades later be responsible for a new Olympic event (He was 86 years old when trampolining was officially recognized at the 2000 Sydney Olympic games).
You can imagine George’s delight when his invention led to what many modern, enlightened physicians and fitness professionals call the perfect exercise: mini-trampoline rebounding.
THE RISE
The first ‘mini’ trampoline was created by Ed Russell way back in 1938. But it wasn’t patented until 1975 by Victor Green. The major breakthrough came when wrestler/gymnast, Albert Carter formed a professional performing trampolining team. Their performances thrilled hundreds of thousands of spectators. Then Carter began to wonder if his superior strength and his family’s extraordinary health came from jumping on the trampoline. With much perseverance, he fulfilled his quest to discover why bouncing on a trampoline was so wonderful for the human body.
In 1980 NASA published a research study which revealed great benefits of trampoline exercise in the Journal of Applied Physiology. Albert Carter was finally armed with the scientific proof he needed. And he coined the term, ‘rebounding’; exercising on a mini-trampoline.
Keep in mind that rebounders are not designed for gymnastic moves; they’re for simple, safe, easy and effective exercise that anybody to do; at home, on the road, or at the office.
THE FALL
Between 1981 and 1984 rebounders were “selling like hotcakes.” Over 70 billion dollars were spent on them. But practically overnight, they became ‘dinosaurs’, another ‘flash-in-the-pan’ exercise fad ‘gadget’ come and gone. The reason: more than 100 manufacturers (in the United States alone) began pumping out rebounders at warp speed. Then third-world countries jumped on the ‘rebounder bandwagon.’ And the competition became fierce. Price wars resulted in the manufacturing of pitiful quality junk. People used these little trampolines for a short time and quit.
THE RESURRECTION
The fact that these mini-trampolines more or less became extinct turned out to actually be a good thing because these cheap pieces of garbage (which were basically overpriced ‘toys’) created more problems than they helped, like back pain, foot pain, knee pain, and hip pain! This was not what Albert Carter had in mind. He knew that a properly constructed rebounder would be fantastic. If you’re a die-hard jogger or runner, what I’m about to tell you may make you think twice about lacing up those running sneakers and pounding the pavement. Exercise doesn’t have to be “rocket science,” but apparently it couldn’t hurt. Here’s the story:
Albert Carter, the ‘father of rebounding’ was determined to figure out exactly why bouncing on a trampoline was such a magnificent exercise. He was certain that rebound exercise was ‘the most efficient, effective form of exercise.’ His research led him to various libraries. At the University of Washington’s library, he was shocked when he dug up a trampoline research study conducted by NASA.
It turned out that NASA was considering using trampoline exercises to help counteract astronauts’ loss of bone mass and weakness caused by space flight. They wanted to see if there would be something superior to running. Treadmills have long been used for health and fitness research. But trampolines had never been researched before.
The study was conducted by the Biomechanical Research Division, NASA-Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, with the Wenner-Gren Research Laboratory of the University of Kentucky, Lexington. The scientists compared various measurements on 8 young men performing running on a treadmill, as well as jumping on a trampoline. Using various examinations and medical technology, they tested their: Pulse – before and after exercising… Oxygen intake during exercise… and G-Forces at their ankles, lower back and forehead
The scientists were stunned by the results of the study…
The NASA Scientists Discovered Trampoline Exercise Was 2-4 Times More Efficient Than Treadmill Running!
What this means in plain English, is that when you jump on the very forgiving surface of a properly constructed trampoline, your entire body shares the G-force impact. This is the critical and unique benefit of rebounding, that the NASA study confirmed; When you rebound, the up and down movements to the cushioning surface, the forces of acceleration, deceleration and gravity are lined up in one plane of movement, all at the same time. This is quite a contrast from running- where your feet, ankles, and legs bear most of the force and fatigue.
In the NASA study, the G-force on the ankles was more than twice than on the back and forehead. NASA also found that the rate of oxygen consumption was twice as efficient as treadmill running! This is a very good thing because every cell of your entire body gets quality exercise stress to build strength- ¦without trauma to any one part of the body.
In other words- the intense, pounding trauma of running can cause injuries to the feet, legs, knees, hips and back- and this is ELIMINATED with rebounding.
To sum it up, their study revealed that bouncing on a trampoline was an extraordinarily efficient form of exercise- significantly better than running, to counteract some of the negative effects of space travel on astronauts. Their findings also helped us understand why rebounding is an outstanding exercise for the elderly and even some handicapped people: low impact, efficient, safe and great for building cellular strength.
No Pain… No Gain?
This is one of the biggest myths people believe when they begin an exercise program. Fitness gurus and sports coaches love to tell you, ‘No pain, No Gain.’ But once you begin a fast, easy and fun rebounding exercise program, you’ll know from firsthand experience that… It’s Dead Wrong!
There’s just no need for exercise to hurt. You’ve probably heard the term, ‘low-impact.’ Right? Well, there’s no better low-impact exercise solution than a properly constructed rebounderâ- But it is critical that your rebounder is well-built. Oxygenating the Heart

We continually hear this word during the news, in conversations, at work or read it in newspapers, magazines and the like. Surprisingly, there’s no definition of wellness that seems to be universally accepted. Nonetheless, there is a set of general characteristics found in most good attempts at define wellness. We routinely see references made to wellness being a “state of well-being,” which is very vague. We also routinely see wellness defined as a “state of acceptance or satisfaction with our present condition.”
Truth be told, wellness is a very tough difficult word to define. Personally, I like what Charles B. Corbin from Arizona State University has to say. He defines wellness as a “multidimensional state of being describing the existence of positive health in an individual as exemplified by quality of life and a sense of well-being.”
Wellness is considered to be an active process of becoming aware of and learning to make choices (healthy choices) that lead toward a longer and more successful existence.

• We use the word “aware” to note that we are continuously seeking more knowledge about how we can improve.
• We use the word “choices” to note that we consider many options and choose those in our best interest.
WHAT IS WELLNESS?
Wellness and good health have historically been seen a freedom from disease; thus, if you weren’t sick, then you were considered healthy. This historical perspective on wellness is changing. While virtually everyone agrees that absence from illness is a primary component of being healthy, it doesn’t however indicate anything about your state of well-being.
As a state of health, wellness is closely linked to your lifestyle and the choices you make. Each individual has a responsibility to themselves to provide for the essentials of good health – that being proper weight control, good nutrition, physical activity and exercise, and controlling of health risk factors such as tobacco use, alcohol and drug use and/or abuse. These things all have a role in wellness.

The human body needs to move. The lymph system bathes every cell, carrying nutrients to the cell and waste products away. Contrary to blood which is pumped by the heart, the lymph is totally dependent on physical exercise to move. Without adequate movement, the cells are left stewing in their own waste products and starving for nutrients, a situation which contributes to arthritis, cancer and other degenerative diseases as well as aging. Vigorous exercise such as rebounding is reported to increase lymph flow by 15 to 30 times.
VESSELS
The lymph fluid moves through channels called “vessels” that are filled with one way valves, so the lymph always moves in the same direction.
The main lymph vessels run up the legs, up the arms and up the torso. This is why the vertical up and down movement of rebounding is so effective to pump the lymph.
The rebounding motion stimulates all internal organs, moves the cerebral-spinal fluid, and is beneficial for the intestines. Many immune cells such as T-lymphocytes and macrophages are self-propelled through amebic action. These cells contain molecules identical to those in muscle tissue. All cells in the body become stronger in response to the increased “G force” during rebounding, and this cellular exercise results in the self-propelled immune cells being up to 5 times more active. These immune cells are responsible for eating viruses, bacteria and even cancer cells, so it is good that they be active. Jumping on a mini-trampoline directly strengthens the immune system, so it’s a big deal!
When the outer coating of cancer cells has been dissolved by the enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin, the immune cells attack the cancer cells. Latest springs on the Health Circulator - notice how one spring is gold and the other is silver. The springs are the only ones at this time that use gold and silver plated springs.
This is the picture of the leather cover. There is no off gassing of any smells like the vinyl covers or fabric covers that are on rebounders that off-gass.
The Health Circulator also has yellow feet that do not off gas like the rubber feet that are on most rebounders. This brand and the Cellerciser are the only 2 rebounders that I have not found any offgassing even when opening up the box on a brand new model.
The Health Circulator has hand welded legs that have zero wobble when doing the Health Bounce. Wobble is good as it keeps keep me more in the center when doing exercises side to side any doing aerobic exercises. Also, the legs on the Health Circulator are much shorter than most rebounders. The Lymphaciser and the Health Circulator have almost the same leg length. Longer rebounder legs are needed for those that allow higher bouncing.

Comparing the Health Circulator to the Cellerciser or Needak
The best way to put it is... the Needak is going to give the deepest bounce, bounciest bounce. A spring that uses a large tier with more coils will be the bounciest but gives fewer bounces than a rebounder using less coils. The Cellerciser uses less coils as it has 3 tensile strengths. Most people under 200 pounds don't even utilize the entire 3rd tier so doing the Health bounce will utilize less coils than the Needak when I do the health bounce. I get more bounces per minute on the Cellerciser than the Needak. The Health Circulator has about half the length of the spring that the Cellerciser or Needak has but it utilizes the entire tier. Its similar to utilizing just the belly of the spring (middle part) of the Cellerciser. The Cellerciser gives a great cushy feeling health bounce but the Health Circulator gives about twice the bounces per minute as the Cellerciser. What I can do as far as lymphatic flushing in a 10 minute session would take me around 20 to 22 minutes on a Cellerciser. That is if you wear one of those step counters that count the bounces per minute. The Lymphaciser does not give much bounce other than allowing a health bounce only. I personally have a Cellerciser to use when I am doing toning exercises. I do not use the bar. I only use the bar to hold on to so I won't fall backwards when I lean back on my heels to get the maximum g force.
This is the first generation Health Circulator. The latest model has the gold and silver springs and yellow feet. This has been one of my most used health bounce rebounders since I saw them at the show. This is the video from the first time I saw this rebounder. They were having a show special of $399 at the time. I thought that was way too expensive. The Cellerciser at that time was about 100 dollars cheaper than it is now. Every rebounder seemed to go up in price since then. The Lymphaciser was $539 at the time. Now it's $900 retail. I charge less when I have stock. The Health Circulator is expensive but still cheaper than the Lymphaciser due to not having import fees.

3rd Generation Health Circulator springs:
Middle "C" on the musical scale. The latest springs resonate at this frequency. These do not squeak like low carbon springs.
Middle "C" is the most balanced tone in nature. Each spring is tuned to this note. Many rebounders have springs that all squeak at different frequencies. Hopefully, other companies start making their rebounders with middle "C" notes.
Those that are sensitive to loud squeaking sounds will appreciate this. Also this rebounder does not off-gas like many other rebounders.

Health Circulator- Amish Handmade
The Health Circulator rebounder is the USA made version of what I refer to the New Zealand Lymphaciser. This gives a similar bounce as the 900 dollar Lymphaciser but has even less coils to give a lower bounce.
The springs are positioned just like the Lymphaciser too. It feels almost identical. The legs do not come off as they are welded in the frame and it does not fold so not as portable.
Springs on the Health Circulator
The Health Circulator is not a rebounder that I would recommend for toning or doing high bouncing. I would recommend the Health Circulator for the Health Bounce only. Not a very cushioned rebounder and not the most fun if doing anything other than barely leaving the mat. This is for someone who wants to do rebounding for lymphatic purposed only. Definitely not a rebounder you wanna just get on to have fun. Very little bounce, only enough for the Health bounce that it seems to be designed for.
I have the same feeling about this rebounder as the Lymphaciser. I like the Health Circulator better as the cover does not have any smell to it like the other non-naugahyde covers. The Cellerciser and the Health Circulator are the only 2 I have found that don't off gas or emit any odors.

Reason why I have chosen the Health circulator as my first pick for the lymphatic bouncing...
Levitational energy is always on, as is Gravitational Energy. Its not a struggle between these conditions but a collaboration. The fact of a holding down or a pull moderates the Levitation process. The body has evolved with these constant laws in place. Movement is the key to shifting the constant state in favor of a flow, more like a phase change. The amount of movement is a message that the body recognizes. Levitational energy attributes to vertical growth in the human body (as in all plants also, except vines which climb on tress and structures). It was not common for folks to jump up and down (except in ritual dance) so trampolining is not a condition of levitational stress or movement. However a gentle up & down movement similar to walking and running is built in the body for levitational action. This is the real value of the lymphatic movement gained with a shifting action such as the gentle movement, dance, walking and running.
Trampolining generates shock & trauma that the body is not built to tolerate or absorb.
When it comes to the G force as a measure of effect or differential, this illustrates how we perceive or feel the force or kinetic movement. The human body is not built to tolerate huge differences in forces. There has never been a requirement built into the human condition that has required any evolutionary process for such. The body is well built to handle normal & even stresses beyond. We have excellence in bone structure and cavities that protect the vital organs and a fluid system that floats all our innards (like our brains).
Trampolining is a toy effect like a game that can be indulged in from time to time. To do so on a regular basis is not conducive to wellness but to trauma. I avoid mini trampolines that I must jump out of the mat to gain enough levitational energy.
The gentle shifting of the body fluids found by using a rebounder that has enough levitational force will not be a multi-purpose rebounder or one designed to lift one above the mat. My research has proven to me that avoiding being airborne is the real key for detoxification & strengthening my body core muscles, introducing additional oxygen uptake, lowering the heart pulse rate and relieving a stress bound body.
Levitation opens up the lymph valves held in place by Gravity. This opening is a subtle energy and is not induced by high jumping. It's the small changes that are repetitive that create the negative pressure and suction in the lymph system.
